APPROACH:
In short, I want to help people make excercise & good nutrition a lifestyle.
PERSONALLY:
I train 5-7 days a week – heavy, low reps. I train 1-2 body parts per training session, each session lasting approximately an hour, and separating my abs into three – training upper, lower, and obliques on separate days.
WHAT ELSE:
Before lifting weights, I studied dance for more than 10 years, until I sustained a lower back injury which eventually forced me to end my dance aspirations. A friend of mine who trained with weights suggested I try it to strengthen my lower back muscles. As soon as I lifted my first weight, I was hooked. Lifting weights not only helped my lower back but changed my entire body.
Whatever the goal, lifting weights will increase strength, endurance and stamina, as well as firm and tone the body. But as beneficial as excercise is, results will be thwarted without a sensible diet - a common sense approach towards nutrition that can be embraced and practiced as a lifestyle. Together, these two elements are the winning combination to a healthy lifestyle and a better quality of living.
